I am a scared boy that crossed the border
I left when I was 16 for a better future
the future looks like the past and promise
I haven’t seen my mom in ten years
It feels like an explosion of sadness
I have a daughter and a son and a wife now
No birthdays 
No visiting nieces
No happiness
I am a scared boy that crossed the border
I came to America with my brother
I miss the animals
I miss my sisters
I miss everybody!
